Energy Audit of Rossadreihad Water Supply

An energy audit  was carried out by Paul Kenny and Siona Daly in 2008. To view this report, click here. It is recommended that a micro-hydro generating plant be installed at this location. This should enable the plant to be self-sufficient in terms of energy consumption. Savings of approximately €25,000 per annum are possible with this project and the payback is < 3 years.

Implementation

This project has not been implemented yet but it is on the South Tipperary County Council Energy Workplan 2008-2010.
