The most livable community in the world signs up to Energy Neighbourhoods

Emly became the tidiest village in Ireland last year and repeated its achievement this year.  It was also the most livable community in the world and won this title at a ceremony in Chicago. TEA is delighted to announce that Emly has just signed up to Energy Neighbourhoods along with other Tidy Towns winners like Birdhill.

Thurles Leisure Centre Biomass – Under Construction

The installation of the new 550kW Biomass Boiler from Gilles is currently underway at Thurles Leisure Centre. The project is set to cut the heating costs within the facility from €150,000 per annum currently on LPG bulk to under €100,000 per annum on biomass locally sourced. This will have the impact of retaining this money
