Wind Energy to save the Irish consumer €100million per annum

A new report commissioned by the IWEA (Irish Wind Energy Association) entitled; ‘The impact of wind on pricing within the Single Electricity Market’ has shown that 45% wind energy generation by 2020 will result in 11.5% savings in wholesale electricity prices. The report also outlines that wind energy will save the consumer €36million by the end of
