Report on Green Economy event – Developing the New Economy

Almost 150 people attended a morning event on Wednesday January 26th, in Tipperary Institute in Thurles, encouraging people to explore the opportunities for new businesses and livelihoods in the “green” economy. The conclusion of the event was that “Green” is no longer specific to environmentalists or activists. Green is as much about savings and efficiency.

Extension to Closing Date for Applications under the 2011 Bioenergy Scheme
